Alex Rost
Alex Rost currently serves as the Director of Transmission Services within the ISO New England System Planning department. Rost joined the ISO in 2012 and has previously served in several capacities, including most recently as the Director of Interconnection Services and Resource Qualification. Rost has over 18 years of experience in various aspects of power transmission system analysis and capacity market resource qualification. Before joining the ISO, Rost worked for the New Brunswick System Operator where he supported and conducted transmission planning and interconnection studies. Rost holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Power System Option) from the University of Western Ontario, a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from the University of New Brunswick, and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Western New England University.
