Brie O’Malley, SHRM-SCP
Brie O’Malley, SHRM-SCP, is the Director of the ReVision Energy Training Center (RETC). In this role, she supports ReVision Energy’s mission to build a just and equitable electric future by overseeing the training and program development initiatives of the RETC. These efforts focus on encouraging underrepresented populations—such as refugees, women, and BIPOC members—to join the clean energy industry. The RETC offers registered apprenticeship programs, continuing education, and credentialing support to help New England meet its workforce demands and achieve its sustainability goals.
A significant part of O'Malley's role involves building and leading the team at the RETC, where she has hired seasoned adult-learning professionals to leverage their expertise as partners in curriculum creation and instruction. O’Malley also facilitates the first course in the RETC's management learning series and serves as a backup instructor for many other courses. Additionally, O’Malley works closely with various partners to support funding initiatives aimed at growing apprenticeship opportunities and exploring potential program partnerships.
Prior to joining ReVision Energy, O’Malley spent 16 years at City Year, where she oversaw recruitment and talent acquisition. She led the development and implementation of a comprehensive onboarding framework while addressing the challenges of inequitable onboarding experiences that result in diminished engagement, productivity, and retention.
Based in Portland, Maine, O'Malley holds a bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College and a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College.
