Bashir Siddiqui serves as a Business Development Manager - Utilities for Western U.S. region. Prior to this role, he worked as an ABB Global Marketing & Sales Manager in Finland, providing grid automation and digital substation solutions for customers in utility, industrial and infrastructure segments. During his time in R&D, he has conducted research on European and Finnish national projects related to smart grids, condition monitoring of power system components, power quality in low voltage network, inductive sensor design, on-line partial discharge measurements and distribution automation. He has also published several conference papers and journal articles in IEEE related to smart grids, power quality and proactive network monitoring. Dr. Siddiqui holds a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University Tampere, Finland. He currently resides in Dallas, TX with his family.
