Gustavo Ortenzi
Gustavo Ortenzi is a Lead Engineer for Distribution Automation within Network Automation & Technology team in Avangrid Networks, part of the Iberdrola group, where he is been working for 10 years. Leads the technical matters of the Distribution Automation area, including the Advanced Distribution Automation Laboratory. He has more than 21 years of experience with electronic control boards and product development, power electronics design & troubleshooting, development & qualification laboratories, Metering systems, Distribution Automation, field experience (deploying & training) and technical project management. He graduated in Electrical Engineer with emphasis in Electronics – Control & Automation in 2002, at UNIFEI (Brazil). Later in 2009 he got his Master of Science in Electrical Engineer and currently is working at his PhD related to Power Electronics and the Supraharmonics associated to it, at UNICAMP (Brazil). He got trained in Black Belt Methodology and Project Management. Gustavo has a lot of experience in big companies such Whirlpool, Itron, Neoenergia and now at Avangrid since Ago/22, when he moved to USA (Orange-CT) with his family.
