John Bonazoli
John Bonazoli is a registered professional engineer in the state of Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
John has worked in the electric utility business for 35 years. He currently is employed at Unitil as an engineering manager, where he leads the system planning and DER interconnection efforts. Joh has worked at Unitil for 24 years. Prior to Unitil John provided engineering consulting services to electric utilities and prior to that worked at Boston Edison (now Eversource) for 10 years where he worked in protection and control.
John has been involved in the interconnection of DER most of his career. He was an original member or the 2003 Massachusetts DG collaborative that created the original DG interconnection tariff. In Massachusetts, and was involved in the creation of the NH interconnection standard of inverter-based DER 100 kVA or smaller.
