Josh Tom is the Director, Future of Electric - Customer at National Grid. His team is responsible for delivering the products, offerings and capabilities that enable the clean energy transition for National Grid's customers while improving management and optimization of the electric grid. Since joining National Grid in 2018, Josh has held various positions, including overseeing program development to drive customer DER adoption and maximize DER value to customers and the grid, as well as developing proposals for smart meter deployment, EV ultra-fast charging infrastructure investments, and solar & storage project development for resiliency. Prior to joining National Grid, Josh worked in macroeconomic research and consulting, providing advisory services on global economic and financial trends and outcomes to top global businesses. He holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
