Kat Burnham is a Senior Policy Principal at Advanced Energy United where she leads Advanced Energy United’s engagement in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Her work focuses on advancing state and regional solutions to accelerate the transition to 100% clean energy. Before joining Advanced Energy United, Kat conducted research and analysis to increase the impact of renewable energy programs and remove barriers to consumer adoption in academic settings and nonprofit organizations. She has collaborated with energy and environmental coalitions across New England. Previously, Kat led clean energy and community advocacy campaigns at Green Energy Consumers Alliance. Kat holds an MPP from the University of Chicago and a BA in Environmental Policy from the University of Rochester.
