Marissa Castoro, MBA, PMP
Marissa Castoro is a Project Manager in the Non-Wires Solutions group at Con Edison, focusing on expanding energy storage and energy efficiency in New York City. Currently, she manages a portfolio of over 20 MW of distribution level energy storage projects. As a born and raised New Yorker this is a mission that is close to her heart. Marissa joined Con Edison in 2014 and has since held positions across all three of their commodities: electric, gas, and steam. Most notably, holding positions with The Innovation Group, where she was responsible for developing new technologies for the transmission system, and the Customer Engineering group, where she oversaw the design of electrical services for new residential and commercial customers. Her strong background with the electric grid and project management gives her the ability to move technical projects from development to implementation.
Outside of her work with the Non-Wires Group, Marissa volunteers her time as a mentor for the ACE program, which introduces high school students to architecture, construction, and engineering concepts.
Marissa holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Hofstra University and an MBA in Management from CUNY Baruch College.
