Michael Montgomery
Michael Montgomery is a seasoned industry leader with over 25 years of experience in Fiber Optic Communications, Test and Measurement, and Fiber Optics Sensing Technologies. Currently serving as the Director of Applications Engineering & Field Operations, he has held key positions in prestigious companies such as Senstar Corp., Optellios, Inc., Fiber SenSys, Photon Kinetics/NetTest, and Tektronix. With a focus on technical training and program delivery, Michael's expertise spans laboratory and field instrumentation, R&D, critical infrastructure, transportation, and Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS). Leveraging his background as a former member of the U.S. Air Force, where he specialized in electronics engineering and communications technologies, Michael has effectively managed and led organizations across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Oregon.
