Robert has over 40 years’ experience in the electric industry including generation interconnections, reliability and resource adequacy assessments, resource planning, load forecasting, project engineering and management, renewable project development, power plant engineering, and natural gas supply and marketing.

Current responsibilities at the CAISO include:

• Managing the Interconnection Services process, including:
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate intake and study of new energy resources through the ISO interconnection procedures
  • Leading interconnection policy development and stakeholder initiatives
  • Oversight of tariff compliance

Robert has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering – Oregon State University.
