Shawn Canady is currently the Manager, Origination and DER with Green Power EMC, where he assists 38 Georgia EMCs procure renewable energy resources. Prior to Green Power EMC, Shawn was the Transmission Services Manager with Georgia Transmission Corporation. Shawn has experience in wind turbines, solar systems, inverters, and battery energy storage systems. He has a B.S. and M.S. from Clemson University with a focus in Power Systems and Renewable Energy. Shawn currently lives in Lawrenceville with his wife and two children.
