Yang Yu
Yang Yu, Senior Manager, Business Development joined Sunrun Grid Services program management team in July 2021 with a focus on wholesale grid services opportunities. Yang transitioned to the Business Development team in May 2022 and has since led partnership development nationwide with opportunities involving solar, stationary battery, bidirectional EVs and thermostats. Prior to joining Sunrun, Yang spent over 7 years with Customized Energy Solutions in their retail operations and wholesale market team, having deep understanding and solid market knowledge of both deregulated retail electric market and wholesale market operation. He received his MBA from Villanova University and earned his Master in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Pennsylvania.
