Yarrow Etheredge

Manager, RTO Policy, Entergy

Yarrow Etheredge is Manger of RTO Policy at Entergy Services, LLC, and has been at Entergy since 2008 working in Transmission Policy and Regulatory Support, and more recently, also Distribution Policy.  Yarrow came to Entergy from the environmental law and policy field, where she developed and managed Brownfields, Coastal Restoration, and Climate Change Management and Mitigation programs, and taught a masters-level course in Environment and Development at Tulane University’s Payson Center for International Development and Technology Transfer. Yarrow transitioned to the energy field to advance policies that support the transition to clean energy and address climate change.

In her current role, Yarrow is responsible for identifying and evaluating issues relating to transmission and distribution policy and planning that impact the interests of five Entergy Utilities operating in MISO South and advancing those interests through engagement in relevant stakeholder processes.  Yarrow has served as the Vice Chair of MISO’s Planning Subcommittee for many years and represented the MISO Transmission Owners at the Planning Advisory Committee from 2018 to 2023, advancing policies on Storage as a Transmission Asset, Non-Transmission Alternatives, Generator Interconnection, Generator Replacement, and multiple Queue Reforms.  

Yarrow holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Tulane University with a certificate of specialization in Environmental Law, and a B.A. degree in Political Science from the State University of New York, College at New Paltz.
