Zach serves as the Northeast Regional Director for Power & Utility Consulting at 1898 & Co. (Part of Burns & McDonnell) leading a team focused on power system planning. He has over 17 years’ experience specializing in electric transmission and distribution operations and engineering, including involvement in electric system enhancements and upgrades, grid modernization, distributed energy resource interconnection studies, reliability and resiliency projects, project outage planning and coordination, emergency response planning and outage management. Prior to joining 1898 & Co., Zach began his career with The United Illuminating Company in Connecticut. He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University, M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a M.B.A. from Quinnipiac University.
