Our dedication to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles encompasses a wide array of initiatives that span before, during, and after GridTECH Connect Forum, as well as within our own organization, Clarion Events. This commitment is evident in our long-standing focus on diversity, the implementation of our attendee code of conduct, our on-site philanthropic endeavors like Clarion Cares, and our ongoing efforts to reduce waste at our events. We wholeheartedly embrace ESG principles and actively incorporate them into all facets of our operations and events. Our aim is to minimize our environmental impact, promote inclusivity and diversity, and contribute positively to the well-being of local communities.
ADVOCATING FOR AN ETHICAL AND SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
Our team and our vendors are committed to mitigating environmental impacts whenever and wherever we hold GridTECH Connect Forum today and in the future.
Where possible, we look to limit the environmental impact our event has and to be as sustainable as possible with logistics transportation, venue energy sources, and waste management, food and depot waste, and the display material we use throughout the event. We offer our attendees the ability to purchase carbon offsets to reduce their own impact on carbon emissions and allow exhibitors to sign a sustainability pledge securing their commitment to their own sustainability standards.
At GridTECH Connect Forum, we are on a relentless mission to usher in a transformative experience that radiates sustainability at every juncture. Our unwavering commitment to instigate meaningful change is steadfastly aligned with our valued partners, vendors, venues, and dedicated staff. Together, we forge a brighter, greener future from inception to culmination.
Clarion understands the important role communities play in helping host our live events, and we want to return the favor to global and local communities that host and are touched by our live events.
Together with the Orange County Convention Center, we will ensure that extra food and promotional items do not go to waste by donating to local organizations. Sodexo Live! works to donate any unused or surplus of food items to local organizations like Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Orlando Union Rescue Mission.
By supporting each other and committing to treat all customers with care and respect, we look to fuel growth and to strengthen our communities. At our events people and technology are working together to find solutions to solve the industry's greatest challenges. Preparing the future generation of engineering professionals and maintaining the highest ethical standards for our attendees and exhibitors.
